About the Knives
Because of the extensive hand work involved, no two knives (no matter how similar) are exactly alike!
- 440 blades are hardened, cryogenically treated, and tempered to ~ 55RC hardness.
- Titanium blades treated to ~ 42RC hardness.
- All blades are concave ground and shipped with a super sharp razor edge.
- Handle these knives with CARE and RESPECT
Sheaths are also 100% individually hand made out
of the finest oil filled American leathers available. You'll find that my
sheaths are as well made as the knives they hold! (Custom orders are
welcome.)
I try to ship on a timely basis but if not in stock your order may take
from 6 to 9 weeks to build, some custom orders take longer. I try to ship as soon
as possible, your patience will be rewarded.
About the Manufacturer
A. Daniel Valois has been carefully making knives since 1968. He has been a full-time knife maker since 1972. Each knife is different. The knives are not mass produced, they are carefully crafted by humans, not machines.
